Rebecca released her first book, Chirp’s Large Day, in 2022 (it sold out in less than a year!) and followed up with the second of the series, Chirp’s West End Wander, in June of 2024. With a third Chirp book slated for a 2025 release, among other projects, Rebecca has been building Chirp’s Adventures as a brand since well before the first release. 

A massage therapist by career, she’s grown her practice to require well in advance booking without spending a dime on marketing. Taking the same can-do attitude into her literary marketing adventures, Rebecca has built successful pre-order campaigns, launched a storefront to sell her own books while supporting other local authors, and has plans to continue to build Chirp’s Adventures into something the entire country knows as a household name.

Rebecca Gladney stumbled upon the concept for her book series by accident - and then had to learn fast when she decided to pursue self-publishing them. As an entrepreneur most of her life creating a business came easy - but building a brand and marketing a product that wasn’t her own name and service was a departure from her existing business, so she needed to learn new skills to entice customers in a new marketplace.

And it worked. The first book’s print run sold out in less than a year, and it paid for itself even sooner!

This session will Focus on creative marketing approaches, general social media tips, and digging deep into your own ‘why’ and how you can use it to your advantage.
